Madcap England

MADCAP ENGLAND specialises in Mod and Retro clothing for men and women. Madcap is named after the Syd Barrett first solo album, 'Madcap Laughs' from 1970. Based in the UK, Madcap England was established in 2007, starting out with Racing Jumpers and knitted polo cardigans - something Madcap has become known for. Madcap England also design and make mens shirts, knitwear, jackets and jeans and also have a limited range of Retro and Sixties style dresses for women.

Madcap England Clothing is worn by Mod Indie bands, The Draytones and The Dukes Jetty, Sixties band The Overtures, among other bands and stars such as Svensson (Norway), The Wurms (USA), The Madd (Netherlands), The Carnabys (UK) and many more. In 2009 'Quadrophenia: The Rock Opera' stage show version of The Who's concept album featured Madcap England Clothing including the Madcap England Mens Boating Blazer.
