Actually, it was forty years ago on the 1st June 2007 that Sgt Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band, the album that influenced a generation and changed the direction of popular music, was released in 1967.
We don't need to tell you how important Sgt Peppers was. It has sat at the top of almost every Best Albums list since its release and even now, forty years later, it sounds new, different and quite unlike anything else.
So in homage to the most famous band that never existed, is this fantastic and unique Retro Sixties Military styled jacket.
The jacket, brand new but with vintage style, is a military-esque sixties band jacket. The sort you might imagine Billy Shears would wear marching in Sgt Peppers band. To the left chest is the 'Billy Shears' name tag and to the right chest pocket a commemorative military themed insignia reading 'It was forty years ago today'. The jacket also comes with three exclusive Beatles themed pin badges, only available with this jacket.
