Retro Classic Mod Revival Headwear
A fantastic classic hat, steeped in fashion and music history. Worn by blues and jazz musicians from Chicago to New Orleans (in the forties and fifties), and adopted by mods in the sixties and more recently by the indie set (a la Pete Doherty and Carl Barat). The hat probably gained most of its prominence in the mod revival era (late seventies, early eighties) with many leading exponents of ska music donning the hat with bags of Rude Boy style.
As proved above this is a hat that never goes out of style. From the forties through the sixties, seventies, eighties, nineties... indeed right up to the present day, this retro trilby masterclass is here to stay.
