Drawing inspiration for its bold design from the action painting of Jackson Pollock, particularly the iconic 1952 painting 'Covergence' which used the process of pouring or dripping paint onto a flat canvas in stages, creating a cool splatter paint style. Naturally Pretty Green aren't the first to be inspired by Pollock's work, with notably John Squire opting for Jackson Pollock-inspired 'action painting' style for the “Bye Bye Badman” artwork which graced the Stone Roses debut album.
