As the British press dubbed it in 1995, the Battle of Britpop revolved around two titans of British music, Blur and Oasis and their crusade to reach the top of the charts with their respective hits ‘Country House' and ‘Roll With It’. In truth it was much more than this. The war was waged in the charts in the press, and outside of the bands personal gripes, in the streets and playgrounds amongst fans of both sides!

‘Barklife’ is a cool play on the Blur's ‘Parklife’ album sleeve, a homage to the great British Pastime of Greyhound racing.
