Gabicci Vintage

Gabicci Vintage

Established in 1973 by Jack Sofier and Alex Pyser, Gabicci aimed to incorporate Italian inspired styling with an air of authority and class, and introduce it to the UK market. The name itself is taken from an Italian resort town, Gabicci Mare, visited by the brands founders. Gabicci are world renowned for retro knitwear and mod polos, jersey wear and shirts.

Offering classic Menswear styles Gabicci became a favourite on the Northern Soul scene and an icon of 1970s and 80s fashion. The Gabicci Vintage range celebrates Gabicci's rich heritage and original style. We stock a large range of Gabicci, covering almost every colour available and in men's sizes small - 3XL.

The Spring/Summer 2026 Gabicci Vintage Collection continues the brand's legacy of premium retro menswear, combining iconic mod knitwear, vintage inspired polo shirts and refined casual styling with fresh seasonal colour palettes and textured summer fabrics. At the heart of the SS26 range are standout Gabicci knitted polo shirts including the Reilly Cuban Collar textured stripe knit shirt, the Danson Ska chequerboard knit polo and the Jura two-tone waffle knit polo, each drawing influence from classic 1960s mod fashion, vintage terrace styling and retro sportswear design.

New season styles such as the Johnson pointelle stripe knitted polo and the Osbourne textured dash knit polo introduce lightweight fine gauge knit constructions ideal for warmer weather, whilst timeless Gabicci Vintage favourites including the renowned Lineker tipped knitted polo shirt remain essential pieces for the modern retro wardrobe. The introduction of the Lasso zip neck knitted cycling top adds a distinctive vintage sportswear edge inspired by classic European cycling jerseys and 70s leisurewear styling.

Alongside the knitwear collection, signature Gabicci jersey styles return in fresh seasonal colourways, including the iconic Ladro polo shirt and the sophisticated Pulp stripe panel resort collar shirt. From retro knit polos and mod polo shirts to vintage-inspired casualwear and textured knit tops, the SS26 Gabicci Vintage collection captures the spirit of classic British mod culture with contemporary tailoring, premium fabrication and timeless attention to detail.

The Spring/Summer 2026 Gabicci Vintage Archive Collection expands on the brand's rich heritage of retro casuals fashion, reintroducing iconic 1970s and 1980s inspired knitwear with a refined modern edge. Drawing influence from vintage terrace casual culture, old-school European sports styling and classic retro menswear design, the Gabicci Archive range captures the unmistakable look of heritage Gabicci knit polos and zip neck tops worn throughout the golden era of casual fashion.

Standout styles this season include the Darron stitch dash stripe textured zip neck polo shirt and the Di Lello jacquard Birdseye knit polo cardigan, both blending vintage knitwear textures with sharp mod inspired tailoring and premium fine gauge construction. Combining classic Gabicci styling with contemporary fits, the SS26 Archive Collection delivers heritage knitwear, archive-inspired polos and classic casuals staples designed for today's mod and terracewear wardrobe.

At Atom Retro, we stock an extensive range of the iconic Gabicci Vintage clothing that dominated the Mod era. Of course, we're Mod aficionados, which means that when we find something that epitomises the movement we spend our lives reviving, we want to tell the world about it.

In the 1970s, Gabicci became a favourite among youth subcultures including Mods, Rude Boys, and Soul Boys, worn by influential music figures like Bob Marley and The Specials. Gabicci blended sharp Italian-inspired design with British casual style, pioneering knitwear with unique fabrics, suede trims, and its iconic gold "G" logo. The brand's authentic retro aesthetic, rooted in vintage menswear and mod culture, continues to resonate today, with its classic polos, cardigans, and knitwear remaining popular for their timeless style and superior craftsmanship. Gabicci's enduring appeal lies in its ability to capture the spirit of 1970s fashion while injecting fresh energy into modern streetwear, making it as relevant now as it was during its inception.
