The Fireflow is a candle-powered, retro rocket–shaped lava lamp from Mathmos, the creators of the original lava lamp in 1963. Finished in a high-shine black metallic casing and featuring vivid blue and yellow lava, this compact design brings a playful twist to a true 60s icon.
Powered by a single tealight candle, the Fireflow takes around 20 minutes to warm up and offers approximately three hours of mesmerising motion. With no power lead required, it’s perfect for creating atmospheric lighting anywhere in your home, and can even be enjoyed outdoors on calm evenings (keep it sheltered from the wind).
A symbol of 60s and 70s pop culture, the lava lamp became an essential feature of the era’s expressive interiors. The Fireflow offers a charming, modern update to that heritage: small, stylish and endlessly captivating.
