Give the classic lava lamp a clever 21st-century twist with the Mathmos Neo Retro Silver Table Lava Lamp in Pink with Yellow Lava. Combining the hypnotic movement of traditional lava with a distinctly modern silhouette, Neo is designed to bring a little retro magic to any room while introducing a new generation of safety-conscious design. The vivid pink liquid and yellow lava create a wonderfully playful colour combination, set against a sleek silver cast-metal base.
Developed from Mathmos' decades of lava lamp expertise, Neo is designed for both adults and children and has passed stringent safety testing. Its clever construction features a low-voltage system, cooler-running base and shatterproof-coated glass bottle, while the bottle is securely attached to the base and the bulb cannot be accessed during use. The distinctive sweeping backplate is made from cast metal, framing the lava and helping to reflect its colourful glow from different angles.
Easy to assemble using just two main cast-metal pieces and one screw, with an Allen key supplied, Neo is a fresh take on a British design icon. Switch it on, let the lava warm up and watch this colourful little piece of retro-futurism come to life.
