Give your interior a serious dose of Space Age style with the Mathmos Telstar Retro Black Rocket Lava Lamp in Blue/Green. Its classic rocket-shaped form, glossy black nickel finish and mesmerising blue and green lava combine to create a striking piece of 60s-inspired design. The look captures the era's fascination with space travel, when the moon landings, futuristic design and psychedelic colour were reshaping everything from interiors to popular culture.
Made in Britain to high quality and safety standards, Telstar features a precision-cast metal body with a high-shine black nickel finish, embossed Mathmos logo and silicone-tipped legs designed to help protect surfaces. The branded glass bottle is manufactured in Yorkshire and hand-filled in Mathmos' Poole factory using the company's unique, long-lasting lava formula, developed by founder and lava lamp inventor Edward Craven Walker. Once heated, the blue and green lava slowly rises, falls and reshapes itself into a constantly changing retro light show.
Whether you're styling a 60s-inspired room, adding a psychedelic accent or simply want a lava lamp with serious personality, Telstar is one small step for your sideboard and one giant leap for retro interiors.
