Turn up the colour and let the lava do the talking with the Mathmos Telstar Retro Black Rocket Lava Lamp in Pink/Yellow. A playful take on the classic rocket-shaped design, this striking combination of vivid pink and yellow lava brings instant 60s energy to your space, while the high-shine black nickel finish gives the lamp a sleek Space Age edge. Inspired by the era's fascination with space exploration and the excitement of the moon landings, Telstar has the unmistakable look of a design classic that was made for the psychedelic age.
Produced in Britain to high quality and safety standards, Telstar combines a precision-cast metal body with a glossy black nickel finish, precision-cast legs and protective silicone boots. Inside, the Yorkshire-made glass bottle is hand-filled at Mathmos' Poole factory with the brand's unique, long-lasting lava formula, developed by founder Edward Craven Walker, inventor of the lava lamp. Once warmed up, the colourful pink and yellow lava begins to bubble and flow, creating a constantly changing display that's impossible to ignore.
Part retro lighting, part 60s sculpture, Telstar is ready for lift-off.
