Founded in 1949 by brothers Colin and Desmond Rawson, Hornsea Potteries quickly gained recognition for its innovative ceramics and distinctive graphic style. Though the pottery closed its doors in 2000, Magpie has brought a selection of its most iconic creations back into production, starting with the whimsical illustration work of John Clappison.
