Indie Apparel offers the biggest range of retro, mod and vintage inspired fashion in the UK through our web based retail channels, Atom Retro and Madcap England and our high street Atom Retro store in Malton, North Yorkshire. Atom Retro was founded in 2004 as an internet clothing retailer. We launched our house brand, Madcap England in 2007 and opened our bricks and mortar store in 2014 to celebrate our 10th anniversary.

We currently stock mens and womens clothing, shoes and accessories from premium heritage brands such as Baracuta, Gloverall and John Smedley, classic fashion brands including Ben Sherman, Fila Vintage and Lyle & Scott, through to independant and fashion forward brands such as Pretty Green, Luke 1977, Irregular Choice and Emily and Fin. We also carry a range of retro and vintage inspired homeware such as Mathmos lava lamps, Newgate Clocks and GPO Retro record players

PRODUCT PHOTO EDITOR

£8.75 /HOUR
PART TIME, PERMANENT
SCARBOROUGH, NORTH YORKSHIRE

Indie Apparel ltd is looking for a part time product photo editor to join our team at our offices in Scarborough, North Yorkshire. 

The successful applicant will be responsible for editing product images using Adobe Photoshop. You will be a bright and efficient individual with a good eye for detail and a desire to achieve excellent results.

This role would be located at our Scarborough offices, situated on the outskirts of Scarborough, close to the A64, Seamer train station and public transport, with free parking. The role is part time, exact hours TBC but between 3 - 4 days a week, Monday - Friday.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • To edit product photos using photoshop.

  • To upload finished photos to website.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Proficient with Adobe Photoshop.

  • Good level of computer proficiency and literacy.

  • Previous experience in a similar role would be an advantage but not necessary as training will be given.

PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES:

  • Excellent eye for detail.

  • Strong work ethic.

  • Ability to work in a fast paced and ever changing dynamic business environment.

  • Ability to work alone and self manage.

CUSTOMER SERVICES ASSISTANT

£8.75 /HOUR
PART TIME, PERMANENT

Job Summary

Indie Apparel offers the biggest range of retro, mod and vintage inspired fashion in the UK through their web based retail channels, Atom Retro and Madcap England. We are currently looking to recruit an office and customer services assistants to join our Scarborough based team. 

The successful applicant will be responsible for replying to customer enquiries via email, telephone and online chat and solving any problems customers have with orders or deliveries, as well as performing other administrative and office related tasks. You will be a bright, resourceful and energetic individual with a good telephone manner and good at problem solving.

This role would be located at our Scarborough offices, situated on the outskirts of Scarborough, close to the A64, Seamer train station and public transport, with free parking. The role is part time, exact hours TBC but between 3 - 4 days a week, and Monday - Friday.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • To answer customer emails.
  • To answer customer enquiries and take customer orders over the telephone.
  • To answer customer enquiries via the online webchat.
  • To liaise with customers and carriers over delivery issues.
  • To process invoices/packing notes for customer & wholesale orders.
  • To process paperwork.
  • To assist with website administration.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Good level of computer proficiency and literacy including use of email and internet.
  • Experience in a similar role would be an advantage but not necessary as training will be given.

ADDITIONAL SKILLS:

  • Any experience and/or knowledge of Adobe Photoshop would be an advantage
  • Knowledge/experience of using eBay and/or Amazon Marketplace would be an advantage
